🌸🌻💐WELCOME TO MY OFFICE💐🌻🌸

This cute, Ghibli-themed office is where I wrote dark, gruesome books like BAT EATER AND OTHER NAMES FOR CORA ZENG. I’m a huge princess about my writing location—some people can write on trains, on their phones, in waiting rooms, etc. I can only write in my bed, a cafe, or in my office. 

Here’s my mini office tour:

Fake flowers (I am a plant murderess) that I change out seasonally. These are cherry blossoms!

A glass whiteboard where I map out story arcs and solve plot problems

A BTS calendar that I custom made myself

A fidget cube

A stuffed warawara

Tea in a giant seal mug named Sir Pinniped which has since cracked (RIP)

Not in frame: a giant SAD lamp which I use not for Seasonal Affective Disorder but to blast light in my face because I love bright light. 

Can you work anywhere? Or do you need an elaborate setup like me 😅
