It’s been an incredibly difficult few months filled with so many let downs and disappointments my brain hasn’t even started to process them yet.

I’m a trusting person and it makes me so sad that when I try to be kind, loyal, and giving it’s often used for self gain without giving me any loyalty in return.

I’m so sick of people love bombing me and then exploding in my face. Shame on me for believing anyone for what they say. Shame on me for not learning this lesson with all of my experience right here - again and again.

We learn as we age and we harden after each time someone wrongs us. It’s hard to be open to new experiences when you have the education of people discarding you after using you and getting what they want without any after thought.

I’ve learned in the last month - even more - that no one should be trusted at their word.

The last few weeks I just can’t believe I’ve been so stupid to believe what people say to me. When will I learn?

Today is the day I draw the line. My milk is no longer free. Buy the cow or leave me the F alone. I’m so behind with my own stuff because I’ve foolishly put my time and effort into helping others. Yet as I watch them take my ideas and implement them I get nothing. Except sick because I see my thoughts become someone else’s paycheck. I’m the only one who loses. Every single time. Wow. Just wow.

How many hours must one waste to learn this lesson? How many great ideas can you give someone before they realize you should be paid? Oh no wait. Why would someone pay you? Isn’t this just to get everyone else’s bottom line where they want?

No more. I’m no longer anyone’s dumping area. I saw this sign as I was seething in my car waiting for a softball tournament to begin.

Things happen for a reason and I needed to see this sign. It’s a literal sign. Thank you Glen Cove dump for being the existential push I needed at that very moment.
