Beat The Bomb Brooklyn - A Family Destination!

After doing the Paint Bomb Experience with our friends we returned with our kids to try the Foam Bomb Experience at beatthebomb in DUMBO!

Since the second I told my son (in July) that we did a laser maze he’s been begging me to go. I finally made that wish come true!

Similar to the Paint Bomb Experience this super fun interactive experience led us through five different high tech physically and mentally challenging rooms where we had to work together to beat the activity.

Think an escape game with a twist offering high-stakes engaging activities including touch screens, motion cameras, RFID readers, projection walls, and lasers.

We not only worked as a group of five but each person had a vital role to play as well. No slacking, even if you’re eight…

As we advanced through the rooms and levels, we earned extra time for completing each mission which was added to the ‘Bomb Clock’ in the fifth and final ‘Bomb Room.’

Failing to disarm this final mission resulted in the “World’s Largest Foam Bomb” exploding and subsequently blasting foam right into our faces (protective gear provided).

Quite simply… it’s amazing.
And you’ll want to lose too.

While this is all happening, Beat The Bomb films it for you and then immediately broadcasts it outside your room so you can watch, laugh, and relive your good time. They also email you pictures and video. 

The package included a post Bomb t-shirt and a canned drink of your choice (beer, wine, or hard seltzer).

It was not only a really fun thing to do over school break but a fun activity to enhance a beautiful family day out in Brooklyn. 

Add in a walk across the Brooklyn Bridge and some famous pizza and IMO it was the best day of break. I highly recommend all of it!
