Today is Bourdain Day, a tradition I started with my great friend ericripert to celebrate all things Tony. And it’s a good day to remember that his legacy lives on in so many ways. A few years ago, I helped start the League of Travelers with roadsandkingdoms, Bourdain’s and my friends and his publishing partners. The League was made to be everything we love about travel: deep culinary trips to our favorite places around the world, led by chefs, writers, farmers and storytellers.

It started with only a couple of destinations, including my native Asturias. This year, we are running small-group trips to 25 regions in 15 countries, from Puglia to Oaxaca, Portugal to Northern Thailand, including an incredible trip through Angola happening right now.

These are not typical luxury trips but off-the-beaten-path adventures with access to the most fascinating people in food around the world. I hope you’ll join us on a trip this fall or beyond.
