From 1982–1998, UNI professors David Whitsett (psychology) & Forrest Dolgener (physical education teaching) led the iconic Marathon Class—so popular it inspired a nationally recognized book, “The Non-Runner’s Marathon Trainer.” 📘

Now we’re honoring Dr. Whitsett’s legacy with a lighthearted 2.6-mile Fun Run on Nov. 1! Three laps around campus. 1/10th the miles. ALL the legend.
