taylorswift and Kelce set the internet ablaze August 26 after announcing their engagement in a carousel of photos on Instagram that showed the Kansas City Chiefs tight end getting down on one knee. The couple chose Swift’s song “So High School” to accompany the post, which was captioned, “Your English teacher and your gym teacher are getting married 🧨”

Polis was thrilled with the news, taking to X to share his jubilation (with song references, of course). “Congrats Taylor and Travis! I always knew you two were End Game. Your Love Story is So High School and Colorado Swifties are Down Bad with excitement over your engagement. Skip Florida!!! and exchange your Paper Rings in the majestic Rocky Mountains,” he wrote, signing off with his name, title and “Certified Swiftie Wedding Officiant.”
