New addition to 6PC Sleeper Club: KeAndre Lambert-Smith

KeAndre Lambert-Smith started his college career at Penn State before transferring to Auburn, where he finished 2024 with 981 yards and eight touchdowns on 50 catches, averaging almost 20 yards per reception. He brings elite speed with a 4.37 forty and proved himself as a downfield threat with improved hands and body control, skills that earned him 5th round draft capital. 

In camp and preseason, his stock has taken off. He’s made highlight plays all preseason, making big catches in the Hall of Fame game and scoring a TD to playing with the ones in preseason week 3. We got to see him work with Justin Herbert, including a 29-yard sideline grab, and added 66 yards on just two catches against the Rams. Coaches have praised his consistency and ability to adjust to the ball, and the Chargers see him as a vertical weapon who can stretch defenses.

He still needs to sharpen his routes and handle press coverage better, but his tools and situation make him a strong dynasty stash. The chargers receiving game is wide open with opportunity behind Ladd McConkey. We’ve seen and heard highs and lows coming out of competition in Tre Harris and Quentin Johnston, who may open up the season ahead of KLS. However, the Chargers want more deep options for Herbert, and if Lambert-Smith keeps flashing, he could earn more playing time as the season goes on. He is one of my favorite taxi squad candidates this season in dynasty.
