It’s a GIRL, and her name is Pippa! 💓🥹 Pippa, the baby tamandua, weighed in at 735 grams and is growing quickly every day! Our tamandua pair, mom “Winnie” and dad “Mr. Wendel,” welcomed her into the world on Sunday, October 6.

This little one plays a crucial role in helping ensure the future of tamanduas through the Species Survival Plan. Come see her and our other nocturnal friends in Animals of the Night!
