Simple, flavorful, and ready in minutes. These Asian-inspired green beans are one of our favorite easy side dishes. Crispy, tender green beans get tossed with garlic, shallots, soy sauce, sesame oil, honey, and garlic chili sauce for that perfect umami packed bite. Serve them with salmon, tofu, or chicken for a quick weeknight dinner.

Asian-Inspired Green Beans
Ingredients:
* 1 lb green beans, trimmed
* 1 tbsp neutral oil (like avocado or canola)
* 2 cloves garlic, minced
* 1 small shallot, thinly sliced
* 1 tbsp soy sauce
* 1 tsp sesame oil
* 1 tsp honey
* 1 tsp garlic chili sauce (like sambal oelek)
Instructions:
1. Bring a pot of salted water to a boil. Add green beans and parboil for 2–3 minutes, until just tender but still crisp. Drain and set aside.
2. In a large skillet, heat neutral oil over medium heat. Add garlic and shallots, sautéing for 2–3 minutes until fragrant and lightly browned.
3. Add green beans to the pan and sauté for another 3–4 minutes until they begin to char slightly.
4. Stir in soy sauce, sesame oil, honey, and garlic chili sauce. Toss to coat the beans evenly and cook for 1–2 more minutes.
5. Serve warm with your favorite protein.#easyrecipe #sidedish #vegtables
