Looking for a show-stopping holiday appetizer? 🥂✨ These caviar-topped fondant potatoes are easy to make but look oh-so-fancy. Crispy, buttery potatoes with a dollop of crème fraîche, topped with premium therealtsarnicoulai caviar for that perfect touch of luxury.

Ingredients

4 large Yukon Gold or russet potatoes, peeled and sliced into 1-inch thick rounds
2 tbsp vegetable oil
Salt and black pepper, to taste
3 tbsp unsalted butter
2 garlic cloves, smashed
1 cup chicken broth
crème fraîche
2 oz caviar (or more, to taste)
2 green onions, finely sliced, for garnish

Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). In an oven-safe pan, heat the vegetable oil over medium-high heat. Place the potato rounds in the pan in a single layer and season generously with salt and pepper. Sear the potatoes until golden brown on both sides, about 3-4 minutes per side.

Once the potatoes are browned, add the butter and garlic to the pan. Let the butter melt and infuse with the garlic for about 1 minute. Carefully pour in the chicken broth, making sure it covers about halfway up the potatoes.

Transfer the pan to the oven and roast for 30 minutes, or until the potatoes are tender and can be easily pierced with a fork.

Remove the pan from the oven and let the potatoes cool slightly. Top each potato with a dollop of crème fraîche, a spoonful of caviar, and a sprinkle of green onions. Serve warm and enjoy.
