When we look to emulate the characteristics of elite level player’s crossover, we want to develop a strong cadence 

The cadence represents the speed AND power we generate in order to accelerate down the ice. By bringing the outside knee up and over while driving our inside leg’s outside edge through and into the ice we create a gallup in our stride 🐎. This power and energy we drive into the ice will generate our cadence and create acceleration ⛸️💨
