🥼🍎 Big news! The Food as Medicine Bill has passed in Texas — making nutrition counseling and medically tailored meals available to qualified Medicaid patients.

Students from the nihao_foodbank_initiative Civic Engagement Team helped make this happen by joining NTFB at the Capitol to advocate for the bill. 💪

🎓 “Young voices can make a difference when we show up prepared and speak from the heart,” said student Betty Liu.

This is a huge step toward making healthy food part of healthcare — not a privilege.
