In Saturday’s GI Alabama Stakes at Saratoga, NITROGEN exemplified every breeder’s dream come true, forging ahead on the dirt to outlast Good Cheer and collect a career-first Grade I victory in the process 🏆 Already a multiple graded stakes winner on the turf, and once on the dirt, this was her second start on the main track as the ultra-talented filly proved once again that she can do it all…and do it exceptionally well.

A D. J. Stable homebred trained by Mark Casse and ridden by Jose Ortiz, Nitrogen has never finished out of the money in her 10 career starts, with a record of six wins, two seconds and two thirds totaling $1,576,604 in career earnings. 

GI Kentucky Oaks winner Good Cheer finished second, with Margie’s Intention third, La Cara fourth, Queen Azteca fifth and Kinzie Queen sixth.
