Ani, born in a poor Raichur village, always knew she was different. Bullied out of college, she moved to Bengaluru, underwent gender-affirming surgery in 2021, but faced homelessness and even had to beg. One day, after being denied an autorickshaw ride, she vowed to change her life. With a small loan, she bought an auto—today she owns four, gives free rides to pregnant women and elderly trans persons, supports the needy, works as a gym trainer, acts in films, and dreams of building an ashram for elderly trans people. Her journey is pure courage—turning pain into purpose.
