I think the positive personal message joolieanniemarie is made with “demure” is now twisting to become a new “microtrend” of an archetype of persona to have. (Legit heard a 14 year old girl tell her friend in Aritzia today— “ew you’re so not demure…”) uff. 

As a certified OG of social media, I do get concerned with the rate that microtrends occur and are shaping culture in a way that is beginning to feel limiting and and echochamber of copycat  content rather than original and personal self expression. The internet should be a fun & joyful place where we can express ourselves and explore and connect with new contexts and experiences. 

So keep it #verymindful 😉or at least VERY AUTHENTIC. You don’t have to fit or follow a trend to have an impact, and don’t let trying to please an algorithm make you forget how singular and unique YOU are.
