🎾 History witnessed. When naysayers put water on your fire… little did they know they gave you gasoline. Burn brighter. LETS GO! The era of cocogauff begin…

One of my moms dreams was seeing the US open and to be present for history, in the grace, power, mental toughness and joy that is Coco Gauff and her game… it was something beautiful to be present for.

Favorite memory of the night, at the award ceremony, Roslyn, an avid supporter who sat in the same section as my mom and I (we went through very anxious bonding point after point together) we all hugged during the trophy ceremony and she shared “I wanted to play tennis so badly but that wasn’t in the cards for me, but seeing Coco excel and extend the legacy of venuswilliams and serenawilliams , I wasn’t born at the wrong time, I was born at the right time to see this. “ ) 🙏❤️

To be present for history, for a young woman who has the emotional and mental fortitude to ignite a nation and to pray publicly after she embraced her family and her first major title and after acknowledging every worker who supported the usopen … class, grace and POWER are personified. Cheers to you Coco, you set the bar higher than ever before at just 19.

Cheers to a new era— I love to see a competitive, compassionate, confident, family-oriented and Faith-centered woman lead the charge. Welcome to the #cocogauff era! #usopen #usopenwomensfinal #cocogauff
