Was SUCH a beautiful night last night on Lake Washington (and Union?) with my girl Kate, Joe, Hugo 🐾 and our epic Captain Big Dave (saved the best for last in the carousel)!

To put it simply, Ms. Magee here has been one of my best friends since college. We’ve gone through MANY crazy times together, highs/ lows, moves, crying over idiot guys— or more likely laughing our assets off over idiot guys, and having those real- deep- soul convos that have kept me afloat though so many phases of life but especially this most recent chapter. 

The lesson: someone will always misunderstand you, the world will make false judgments of you or think they know or project their own insecurities and problems into you and the list goes on and on. But if your only concern is being true to YOU, living as your authentic self and letting all the rest go—- well people like this come into your life and love you for who you really are. 

Friends like these are rare so I wish you your very own “Kate Magee”.
