First Student Athletes of the Week for 2025-26! 📚

🏐 @carolinejurevicius was named the AVCA Player of the Match after hitting .393 with 14 kills in a five-set win over No. 14 Kansas on Monday at the Sanford Pentagon in Sioux Falls, South Dakota. That came two days after she tallied eight kills in a 3-0 sweep over No. 12 Creighton at Nebraska’s Pinnacle Bank Arena. @pennstatevball went 2-0 at the AVCA First Serve Showcase with two wins over nationally-ranked opponents.

⚽️ As one of the few picks of the MLS SuperDraft 2025 to return to the college game, @caden.grabfelder17 put the nation on notice with a pair of goals in the 2025 season opener against Stetson, helping @pennstatemsoc to a victory on Jeffrey Field. The first strike, coming from more than 25 yards out, rocketed to the left upper 90 to give PSU a 1-0 lead. Top Drawer Soccer dubbed the shot an early contender for goal of the year. He only followed up the heroics with a second goal, this time coming in the second half off a free kick right outside the Hatter’s box. The shot ricocheted off the wall to give Penn State a cushion to close out the game.
