A spokesperson from the #Irving PD said over the phone on Wednesday morning that FBG Murda, real name Cayto Rivers, was sh-t a little past 2 p.m. on Tuesday in the 1000 block of East Irving Blvd. A statement from the Irving PD sent to the Observer describes the rapper, although he was shot, not as the victim, but as a suspect. Preliminary investigation revealed that a dispute between two customers (suspects) and the business owners (victims) escalated into a physical altercation,” the statement reads. β€œThe suspects had entered a restricted area of the muffler shop. When confronted and asked to leave, they became verbally aggressive and brandished firearms. To prevent the suspects from drawing their weapons, the victims physically restrained them. During the struggle, the suspects threatened to sh- -t the victims. As one victim held onto a suspect, the suspects attempted to flee in a vehicle, dragging the victim alongside. During this altercation, a firearm was discharged, and one suspect was struck.” According to police, the suspects who fled the scene were identified as Elijah Jacobs, 21, and the one who was sh-t as Rivers. Officers took the rapper to a hospital for treatment, and Jacobs was booked into jail. FBG Murda remains hospitalized and will be booked into jail once medically cleared. To be clear, the Irving PD lists FBG Murda as a suspect in this case, and not a victim.
