## Caption

The attacks on our communities and rights have been relentless. But at the ACLU-WA, we do not despair. We act.

Our Executive Director Michele Storms has been with our affiliate through both Trump administrations. She knows the freedoms that are at stake and the urgency of this moment. We asked what gives her strength right now. For her, it’s that ACLU-WA is staying steadfast and grounded in our priorities and values:

🔸Protecting and expanding civil rights and liberties for ALL
🔸Centering the humanity of us ALL
🔸Understanding that this work is challenging and it takes ALL of us

Together, we will build a more just and equitable society — for all.
