Chicken of the Woods are the ultimate late summer/early Autumn find. You can feel fall in the air here. The garden feels it, too. These beautiful mushrooms sit atop a sage infused focaccia adorned with pineapple sage blossoms & leaves! You will also spot Swiss giant pansies, asters, and chrysanthemums! I truly love the late summer/Autumn bouquet that adorns this focaccia! All locally foraged and/or organically grown! What more could you ask for? This focaccia went wonderfully with some spicy marinara bought from a mom and pop shop near by! The perfect way to fuel up after scaling a mountain side for these gorgeous Chickens!
