As a young player, the best thing for me was learning from my mentor both on and off the court. He was a great teacher from the sidelines, but seeing the way he played the game of basketball opened my eyes and shaped the way I approached the game. 

I try to do the same thing for all of my players now within gbgobeyond and gbbluedevils 

Surround yourself with people who have and can still play the game at a higher level than you. It’ll speed up your progress as a hooper.
