After almost 3 years, we successfully stopped oil & gas lobbyists from weakening the Global #PlasticsTreaty in Geneva, Switzerland. The Greenpeace global network exposed corporate polluters who ruthlessly tried to undo all our hard work. While this was a win, we still need to pass a treaty that effectively:

🚫 Cuts plastic production
💰Provides equitable finance to support the transition for the Global South
☣️ Phases out toxic chemicals
🤝 Promotes sustainable alternatives (like reuse systems)
