For our second and final award, we are honoring Brittney Griner with the first ever #WomensSportsMatter Sports Story of the Year award. This award will go to someone who defines odds and overcomes hardship in the women’s sports world. 

We are very thankful to everyone that voted for the WSM Athlete of the Year award this month. We look forward to doing more of these in the future.
