Married at First Sight Australia has reportedly added a gay couple to the cast of the 2026 series, and it appears that there will be plenty of drama for fans to sink their teeth into.

The popular dating reality show is set to return Down Under for a 13th series in the new year and by all accounts it’s set to be an explosive one.

MailOnline reports that producers have introduced the Sydney-based personal trainer Chris Robinson and Adelaide-based model Sam Stanton to the cast, along with two other couples, halfway through filming the next series.

Robinson has owned Body Skin Soul, a personal training studio, for 12 years which offers sessions on a 1-on-1 basis or in groups. He is also the owners of Wave and Willow Retreat, which consists of two holiday rental properties on the New South Wales coast.

Meanwhile, Stanton is listed with Finesse Models and has shot campaigns for Knobby Underwear, Mazzuchelli’s, and SA Life Magazine. He is also the co-founder & Head Coach of the fitness studio, Studio 360 Sports. The bio of his Instagram account, which has been made private, states he’s an ambassador for Lululemon and is involved with the protein and supplements brand, Happy Way.

An insider close to the programme has told the MailOnline the three new couples “were told from the get-go that they need to create drama and keep it flowing.” The source also said: “Even if they don’t hit it off romantically, they’ve been asked to ride it out until the end of filming.”
