Congratulations to the student-athletes of the week! 📚

🏈 @pennstatefball opened its season with a dominant 46-11 win over Nevada, highlighted by defensive end @thedanidennis disruptive performance. He forced a fumble on Nevada’s opening drive, recovered by A.J. Harris, and later added another in the third quarter—his first career game with two forced fumbles and the first Nittany Lion to do so since Micah Parsons in the 2019 Cotton Bowl. Dennis-Sutton now has six career forced fumbles, tied for third in program history and just two shy of the all-time leaders Greg Gattuso and Harry Hamilton. He also recorded 2.5 tackles for loss, marking his seventh career game with multiple TFLs, bringing his career totals to 25 tackles for loss and 16 sacks.

⚽️ @pennstatewsoc sophomore forward @aubrey.kulpa booked another week of impressive individual performances last week, as the Nittany Lions closed out their four-match home-opening stretch on Jeffrey Field undefeated. Kulpa, a native of Cromwell, Connecticut, was singlehandedly responsible for both Penn State scores in this week’s lid-lifting matchup against the Santa Clara Broncos, finding the back of the net twice in an eventual 2-0 Nittany Lion win. The contest marked her fourth collegiate multi-goal outing, as well as her second of the 2025 season. In Sunday’s battle with James Madison, Kulpa led the Blue & White with a pair of shot attempts, including one on target in 77 minutes of time in the field.
