Bunion Recovery: Part 3 👣

Oof this update was a really hard one for me to make. I’m officially in the part of my healing where it’s all about patience, and if you knew me personally, you’d know that I have none 😂

I knew this process was going to be tough, but I wasn’t prepared for how much it’d affect me mentally and emotionally. Even though I’m finally allowed to be back on my feet and doing normal things (with some adjustments), the apparatus that allows me to walk also causes me SO. MUCH. PAIN. Annoyingly, the pressure from the compression clips have been the *only* part of my recovery that has caused any sort of pain, so that’s something to be grateful for.

I’m glad I waited to make this update, because I spent a lot of the last 3 months feeling frustrated and sorry for myself (so this would’ve been a very different, much more negative video), but now that I’m more than halfway done, I can look back in hindsight and appreciate the experience. I mean, when else am I going to be able to take advantage of VIP wheelchair access at the airport? 😜

As of today, I should only have 2.5 more months to go! 🙌🏻

Thank you so much for following my journey. I’m blown away by the overwhelming support I’ve received in the comments and DMs, and even connected with a few people who are also recovering from bunion surgery or about to get it. We’ve got this ❤️
