If this title made you pause, irritated you, or evoked any kind of strong reaction… same.

A few weeks ago, I was deep in it—questioning everything about my industry, my business, and even my own practice. As an entrepreneur, I’ve had to shift, pivot, and rethink my approach more times than I can count. And yet, when things weren’t working the way they used to, I caught myself wondering:

Are fewer people practicing yoga?
Are teachers struggling to bring in students?
Are practitioners losing that spark they once felt?
Are brands and corporations moving yoga aside in favor of whatever’s trending next?
And is all of this having a lasting impact on our industry?

If you’ve felt this too—if your practice, your teaching, or even your love for yoga has felt off lately—don’t give up. I’m not. Here’s what I know:

I went back to my mat. I practiced, even when I didn’t feel like it. I breathed. I moved. I remembered. And that’s how I know yoga isn’t dead.

Trends come and go. Industries shift. People get pulled in different directions. But yoga? It stays. It evolves. It meets you where you are.

Some will stay, some will leave, and many will return—because yoga is more than movement. Even if someone steps away, the practice has a way of calling them back.

And as long as we, as teachers, practitioners, and lifelong students, keep showing up—keep practicing, keep sharing, keep passing it on—yoga will always be here.

So today, I’m here. Moving, breathing, and reconnecting.

If you’re in a rut, I hope you do too. Because yoga will always meet you where you are—as long as you’re willing to meet it back.
