I’ve been through so many trends on social media over the last 15 years. Who could forget how it all started? With yoga photos in the most random outdoor spots 😜 Sure, I loved the idea of practicing by the beach (because, who doesn’t want that vibe?) But then there were the days when I’d find myself doing yoga in, of all places, a parking garage, on random benches, sidewalks, or in random architectural hallways 😬

I always felt a bit silly but went for it anyway, and honestly, we did create some stunning photos! Now, looking back, I can’t help but giggle and wonder “WHAT WAS I THINKING?” 🤣 No shade to anyone; this was the trend, and we all went along with it. 

Let’s laugh at some of these hilarious memories together:

1️⃣ mathieuboldronyoga grand idea: ‘I handstand straddle, you sit on top in straddle’—two people lifted me on, and we laughed until we cried when we saw the final pic
2️⃣ fitflexjuli took me to a sketchy alley just for this wall—worth it, even with the smell 
3️⃣ Why my face was next to mackenzieyoga butt, who knows—also, I fell right into it after!
4️⃣ This was before I decided the IG booty shots weren’t my vibe. I was trying those crazy Alien backbend poses—turns out, my body doesn’t bend that way. And I’m okay with it.
5️⃣ Why mathieuboldronyoga was obsessed with me sitting on his butt, we’ll never know. 2 photos and one unimpressed diceyoga later, mission accomplished.
6️⃣ Not sure why we thought this ‘puddle of people’ was a great promo pic for yoga teacher trainings yogabeyond diceyoga mathieuboldronyoga 
7️⃣ Crotch to the camera—great look… and that pose was hard AF
8️⃣ Oh yeah… just casually chilling on a park bench like this. Totally normal
9️⃣ As my son would say, GYAT! Not my real butt, but I’ll take it. Sacrificed my feet on that burning hot floor—at least the sweat was real

I have plenty more where these came from. Should I do a part 2?
