HYBRID AND OPTIMAL 🧰

These are the principles I follow to bring out my best and continue improving over time. My goal is longevity, looking and feeling good along the way. These principles work because they’re the most effective for losing body fat, building muscle, and staying injury-free.

1: Training to almost failure and applying progressive overload forces your body to adapt, builds lean mass, burns more calories, and helps maintain muscle while dieting — all key for sustainable, long-term fat loss

2: Improving mobility will help with joint health, support muscle building by improving range of motion, as we age mobility actively declines so we need to actively work on it.

3: Practicing explosiveness and plyometric movements helps you move better, stay powerful, and avoid the typical decline in speed, coordination, and joint resilience that comes with aging

4: The hips are the foundation of powerful, pain-free movement. Strengthening their many functions keeps you athletic, balanced, and injury-resistant not just in the gym, but in everything you do.

5: Core training builds the stability, strength, and control your body needs to move well and stay pain-free now and for decades to come. It’s one of the best long-term investments you can make in your physical health and independence.

6: Training both your aerobic and anaerobic systems gives you endurance, strength, power, and recovery the complete package for performance and long-term health. Neglecting one limits your potential; training both makes you adaptable, durable, and fit for life.
