🇰🇷✂️ Korea’s largest hair salon chain, Juno Hair (junohair_official), is acquired by Blackstone (blackstone), the world’s biggest private equity firm.

Blackstone announced it has signed a definitive agreement to make a major investment in Juno Hair. While neither side disclosed the exact figure, industry sources estimate the deal to be worth up to ₩800 billion (~USD 574 million). 💰✨

While K-beauty brands and beauty-device companies have often been snapped up thanks to their global popularity, this marks the first-ever acquisition of a Korean hair salon chain.

Founded in 1982 with a single salon, Juno Hair now operates 180+ directly managed stores across Korea with over 3,000 stylists and technicians. Its portfolio spans Juno Beauty, Juno Depot, and Juno Academy, generating ₩300 billion (~USD 215 million) in annual sales. 📈💇‍♀️
