It’s a time of both rejoicing and mourning for #PastorMikeJr , who swept the 40th Annual #StellarAwards with nine wins, and set a record by earning Artist of the Year for the fourth time 🏆

He celebrated these victories and closed the ceremony with an incredible performance of his hit single “Amen”, all while processing the passing of his maternal grandfather. 

Pastor Mike honored legends like Bebe Winans, Fred Hammond, Shirley Caesar, and John P. Kee, who paved the way for gospel musicians like him. 

When asked about winning every category in which both he and the always-lovely CeCe Winans were nominated, he responded, “God’s gotta really like you for you to win over CeCe, because she’s like a walking angel”. ❤️

He referenced “Confetti & Conspiracies: The Amen Mixtape” released in July of this year, to describe the duality of his public victories coupled with his private struggles.
