google “eatsbyramya chai concentrate” for recipe for this chai concentrate as well as tips to make sure that your chai concentrate comes out good when you make it!! Just make sure you’re following before you comment so it actually goes through. OR if you don’t wanna follow it’s also linked in my bio 😋 •••• This DIY chai tea concentrate tastes just as cozy, costs a fraction of the price, and is so easy to make. What exactly is chai concentrate made of? Homemade chai concentrate is basically just black tea and whole spices simmered together with water until the flavor is strong and concentrated. This makes it perfect for mixing with milk & sweetener to create lattes. I don’t put sugar when I’m making the actual concentrate that way you can adjust it based on the drink! In my recipe, I use: Cardamom Cinnamon – not something I always use in daily chai, but in a concentrate it gives that classic “chai latte” flavor we all know from cafes Fresh Ginger – a must for me! It adds a subtle spice, helps with digestion, and feels extra soothing in colder months. Cloves – balances the sweetness of cinnamon/cardamom with depth and warmth. Loose-Leaf Black Tea – the stronger the better! A bold black tea base makes the chai rich and flavorful. How is chai concentrate different from regular chai? Regular chai is brewed fresh with milk and water each time you make it. I have a really good recipe for how to make chai for one if you’re interested in that too!! Chai concentrate, on the other hand, is a stronger, spiced tea base that you can keep in the fridge for up to a week. All you need to do is mix it with milk (dairy or oat, almond, soy, etc.) and sweetener if you like. I like to use a fhau concentrate for iced chai and then a boiled chai with milk for a hot chai • • #chai #indianrecipes #chaitealatte #fallrecipes #starbucks
