#LFA216: Silva vs. Bertolso, presented by MonsterEnergy, takes place on Friday, September 5th and will feature LFA strawweight champion Lany Silva defending her title against undefeated contender Aieza Bertolso.

Silva, a native of Bahia now residing in São Paulo, secured the vacant strawweight title earlier this year with one of the most notable finishes in recent LFA history. Fighting in her adopted hometown, she delivered a devastating head kick knockout over former champion Rose Conceição, solidifying herself as one of the division’s most dangerous strikers. Now, she heads into enemy territory to defend her belt for the first time.

Her challenger, Aieza Bertolso, will have the crowd on her side as she competes in her home state of Mato Grosso. A two-time IMMAF amateur world champion, Bertolso brings an unbeaten streak of 20 straight wins, including both amateur and professional bouts. Her combination of composure, grappling pedigree, and mental toughness has made her one of the most feared strawweights on the rise.
