Part 3: The Glow up. Our first project with award winning design agency marxdesign.co.nz took this product launch to new heights, cementing StrangeLove as ''premium and eye-wateringly expensive''

Drawing inspiration from the surrealist cocktail hour of the 1950s — resulting in a glamorous yet slightly twisted take on the era. The first variant, Dirty Tonic, set the tone for the range. Airbrushed illustrations capture the essence of the 1950s, paired with a colour palette influenced by iconic bar interiors of the time. The stubby bottle design nods to classic tumblers and decanters, adding a touch of nostalgia and sophistication.

2. The Australian craft spirit boom was calling for a locally made top-notch mixer to match. Enter StrangeLove Premium Mixers.

3. How to eat into profit margins 101: 
- Pretty spot colours
- Intricate hand painted illustrations of grapefruits.
- Gold foiling
- Custom Australian made embossed glass bottles

4. Bitter Lemon, an old classic re-imagined for the modern drinker. This one features an illustration of a citrus torture device you would find in a senior citizens cupboards (thanks mee-maw!)

5. Salted Grapefruit - a gift from the grapefruit gods.

6. If you're going to make mixers, make them flashy. Tonic No. 8 for fans of traditional punchy tonic waters, and 8 balls. 

7. Gin and tonic finally got interesting.

8. We haven't seen our cat since 2016. He answers to Mr. Jerk Face. If you found him, please keep him. He is kind of a jerk.

9. Dirty by name, made dirty by nature. Raw unrefined cinchona bark confusing consumers since 2016. Yes it looks dirty, drink it anyway.
