Here a group of hybridized birds, human silhouettes, and plants rendered in washy acrylic paint appear to emerge from the canvas. This work exemplifies artist Suzanne Jackson’s approach to painting in which forms and color blend and bleed, reinforcing a sense of interconnectedness within the natural world that challenges the traditional boundaries of landscape.
