In a sunbeam by the table, curled up tight and snug,
Lies a whiskered sushi bandit, dreaming on the rug.
With maki rolls for pillows and sashimi by their side,
These purring little pirates ride the tuna tide.

Wasabi’s not for kittens, but they sniff it just the same,
Dancing through their sushi dreams, in a soy sauce video game.
Tamago towers, shrimp tempests—what a tasty scene,
With salmon skies and seaweed wraps in a feline sushi dream.

No chopsticks needed—just a paw and charm,
A sleepy face, a twitching tail, it’s sushi-cat disarm.
They guard the plate with gentle snooze, no single bite they steal—
But heaven help the human who tries to touch that meal.

So here’s to cats and sushi—an unlikely but cute pair,
With every roll, a cozy nap, and fishy-scented air.
A nap, a snack, a belly rub, the cycle starts anew…
Just don’t forget: that nigiri? It’s not just meant for you.

テーブルのそば、日差しの中で、
くるっと丸まる猫の夢の中。
枕は巻き寿司、そばには刺身、
マグロの波に乗って旅をする。

わさびはちょっと…でもクンクン嗅いで、
しょうゆの海でダンスする、そんな舞台。
