As part of the Vail Resorts family, did you know Crested Butte Mountain Resort is committed to achieving a zero net operating footprint? That’s zero net emissions, zero waste to landfill, and zero net operating impact on forests and habitat all by 2030. 

And we’re making progress toward our goal: For the 2020-2021 winter season, CBMR was able to expand its composting program from only pre consumer food scraps to all food scraps as well as compostable packaging as part of our Commitment to Zero progress. The program now includes all green waste from our mtn ops and grounds teams.
