Our 50 State Report is making headlines nationwide as our research uncovers startling new information about the lives and lived experiences of LGBTQ+ young people in regions throughout the United States. Queer and trans youth in Midwestern states reported some of the highest rates of suicide attempts and threats of physical harm and violence — because of stigma and mistreatment pointed at LGBTQ+ young people.

Our 50 State Report breaks down the stories of queer and trans youth state-by-state to better understand how location impacts the daily lives of LGBTQ+ youth. While our data is disheartening, it provides new insights into what our youngest community members are living through.
