As we close out Black History Month, let’s reflect on our collective responsibility to uplift and support Black transgender and nonbinary young people. 

In just 5 meaningful actions of support, you can create a welcoming  environment  for Black trans youth.
These everyday gestures — showing kindness, using correct names and pronouns, and getting educated on the intersectionality of race, gender identity, and expression — can significantly influence the mental well-being and future aspirations of Black trans and nonbinary youth. 

Let’s not just celebrate Black History Month, let’s create a world where all Black LGBTQ+ young people can thrive in the future tense. 🧡🌈
