Happy Birthday Léon Wuidar!

Léon’s work testifies to a lifetime of painterly exploration and the preservation of a unique presence that, as Hans Ulrich Obrist has noted, arises from ‘radical simplicity and extreme subtlety’.

His 2024 exhibition at White Cube Hong Kong presented a selection of paintings that chronicled his remarkable six-decade career.

An exhibition of works by the artist, spanning from the early 1960s to the present day, will be on view at White Cube Paris from 14 January – 21 February 2026.
