Change is hard but look how far we've come! 

Tomorrow marks the official launch of the Toronto Archives' new database, ArchivEra!

This platform offers new functions, including:
•	A simplified search window with new tools
•	Filtering your search results with pre-set criteria
•	A digital image search tab for targeted results

On-line training resources will be available through the Archives' webpage and reference staff are always on hand to answer questions.

Toronto's first computer the UNIVAC 1107, also known as the Thin-Film Computer because of its use of thin-film memory for register storage. Only 36 were sold including one to the City of Toronto for controlling traffic lights by Metropolitan Toronto Traffic Signals department.
