Ahead of International Youth Day on Tuesday, August 12, we’re celebrating GivingTuesday Spark Chapter Leaders who are making an impact. 

Every day, they mobilize neighbors to help neighbors, facilitate youth-centric initiatives that transform cities block by block, and turn big dreams into local realities while addressing the realities of life.

They don’t simply talk about change. GivingTuesday Bangladesh Campus Leader Md Shariya makes it happen. Md Shariya is actively involved in organizing youth engagement programs, community awareness campaigns, and skill development workshops for his peers. Prior to his work as a GivingTuesday Leader, he volunteered with local and national youth-led organizations focused on education, environmental issues, and social inclusion.

Md Shariya is proud to empower fellow youth leaders through skills building, education, and community service with a focus on creating opportunities for young people in rural areas to connect with global networks and make a meaningful impact in their communities. He believes that even small actions can lead to big changes when guided by purpose and unity.
