Inspiring the next generation of Earth scientists in Los Angeles. 🔎

Recently, nasajpl visited the lapubliclibrary’s West Valley Regional Library to host a program about measuring tree height and surface temperature to teach young citizen scientists how to better understand the world around them.

The event was part of the GLOBE program, which encourages the public to engage in local investigations that contribute to a worldwide database, whose data can be freely accessed online.
