The 5th dermatological expedition of ISDIN in Mozambique is underway. This time, 15 dermatologists from USA, Spain, Mexico, Portugal, and Germany have traveled to Maputo and Xai-Xai to help people with albinism combat skin cancer.

In Africa, albinism fosters discrimination and poses a very high risk of developing skin cancer. That’s why, in collaboration with the Africa Directo Foundation, we promote dermatological expeditions to drive awareness through education, help prevent by donating sunscreens and give treatment with our doctors and their surgeries. This year, our ambassador Judit Mascó is also joining us as a volunteer.
