Hey you…yeah you! This juvenile Corncrake just popped up to say hello 👋
 
For the first time ever, recorded evidence of Corncrakes successfully breeding on our Oa reserve has been captured, which is a huge win for the species and everyone involved! 👏
 
A big thanks to the reserve team for their conservation efforts and nature-friendly farming practices that help support the Corncrakes.
 
And a massive shoutout to naturenortheast for capturing this footage - which is no easy task as Corncrakes are notoriously elusive and secretive birds!
