We love a lunge, but if you’re looking for a lower impact option in your workouts, the toe-tap is a great alternative for people with joint pain or those recovering from injury:

- lunges can put stress on the knees and ankles, where toe taps allow for gentler movements
- toe taps require coordination as you alternate between feet. This improves balance and stability in a more dynamic way compared to static lunges
- toe taps engage the core muscles more consistently because you’re standing on one leg and moving the other, challenging your stability
- toe taps can be done in far smaller spaces, which makes them super beginner friendly
- great for a warm up

Sometimes the small movements are the mightiest- to train with us, check out the comments 👇🏽👇🏽
