Today marks 80 years since the Instrument of Surrender was signed aboard the USS Missouri in Tokyo Bay, Japan, officially bringing World War II to an end. 

We remember and honor the courage, sacrifice and resilience of those who served, fought and made the ultimate sacrifice during one of the deadliest and most destructive wars in history.
