jeffkoons “Lobster" (2007-2012) gives the ordinary a surreal twist—what appears to be an inflatable pool toy is, in reality, polished stainless steel. By transforming the familiar into the fantastical, Koons playfully blurs the line between reality & illusion. 

Take a closer look, and you'll notice a nod to Dalí's "Lobster Telephone" & surrealist aesthetics, along with a thin, mustache-like antenna—an homage to the iconic surrealist himself. 🦞
