🎥 Empowering Young Girls: A Journey of Impact. 
 

Aligned with the Government’s efforts to empower young girls we started our journey in September  2022 with the aim of changing the lives of primary and high school young girls by providing them with  MHM rooms. To date, we have built two rooms: GS Ngeruka: It has an impact on 273 students and 15 teachers GS Kabeza: It affects 514 students and  22 teachers Both are in Bugesera District and these rooms give young girls an opportunity to access sanitary products freely thereby giving them a chance to learn in a safe environment. 
 

In order to ensure the sustainability of these projects, we have put in place income-generating activities: chicken farming at GS  Ngeruka and pig farming at GS Kabeza. These projects enable us to manage the rooms and also sustain in providing the necessities that these girls require. 
 

We are still keen on this and want to thank our members, Friends of Our Past, partners and the Government for your support. 
 

We would like to take this opportunity to thank the bankofkigaliofficial for joining us in this initiative, #Peter_Eckes_Familienstiftung for contributing to the construction of the second room and ourturnerandtownsend for furnishing these crucial rooms.
